These Earrings remind me of an ancient Celtic design. They trace a Hexagonal pattern across the face of a Tiger Bamboo circle. They are finely crafted by hand from 925 Sterling Silver and natural Tiger Bamboo which only grows on the Indonesian island of Lombok.
The Discus of Vishnu, known as Beauteous-Sight represents the {universal} Mind, the limitless power which invents and destroys all the spheres and forms of the universe, the nature of which is to revolve.
The Disc is a symbol of the sun. To the Chinese it represented the state of celestial perfection. The disc is in fact a flattened sphere. All strata of biological life from cells to planets assume a spherical shape. In this way the sphere does indeed represent that which is ‘whole’, ‘divine’ and in some sense ‘perfect’.
